Kadayawan festival now a days is supported by many plant enthusiast. They were having a plant exhibit at the SM city grounds along Quimpo, Boulevard Davao City. In the exhibit area, officers from the lecture committee encourage people to attend seminars on how to grow healthy "zanseverias". This type of plant demands a higher price now a days compared to the previous years. Plants varieties just come and go. "Zansi" plant is very popular today, its because that people from Thailand collects this type of plant. Actually this kind of plant came from Thailand but thailanders was not able to propagate it. As a result, they come here just to buy different varieties of it ans since the demand is so high the price of each varieties increases. the seminar was held inside the exhibit area.
