Jessica Simpson promotes a new beer brand



Jessica Simpson is lending her celebrity to sell beer for Stampede Light Plus.
As the new spokeswoman for the beer brand, the 28-year-old aspiring country singer will appear in ads in stores and will take a 15 percent stake in the brewer.
[As an entrepreneur,] I’m always looking for ways to diversify my portfolio with good ideas and good people,” Jess said in a statement. “[But] yes, I work out and take care of myself. I also like a cold beer once in awhile.”
Stampede Light bills itself as a beer for active people.
