Forgive and forget? That seems to be the Jonas Brothers' attitude toward Russell Brand. In England to promote their Disney movie Camp Rock, the brothers say they were not upset at the British comedian for taking swipes at their purity rings and pledges of virginity during Sunday's MTV Video Music Awards."For us it's cool to see that he recognizes we are gentleman," Nick Jonas said Tuesday during an appearance on BBC Radio's Newsbeat program. Plus, the teen stars say, they had an army of fans by their side. Said Kevin: "We had a lot of friends there and everybody's so nice. We had a good time."One of those "friends" and vocal supporters of the Jonas Brothers: Jordin Sparks. The former American Idol, who also wears a purity ring, took offense to Brand and said there was nothing wrong with publicly declaring one's virginity. "Not everybody – guy or girl – wants to be a slut," she said during the live telecast. In fact, the Jonas Brothers say they're fans of Brand's humor. "I think he did a good job," Nick said, offering a review of his hosting performance."We saw him on [The Late Show With] Conan O'Brien and thought he was hilarious." The only critique, Kevin said of Brand's politics-laden monologue, was that he didn't cover enough topics.
