IN Badian Island Resort and Spa, hospitality is a way of life.
This is not a cliche. Take, for example, the way a guest is welcomed at the resort. At the docking station, the whole Badian crew breaks into their signature welcome song once you arrive. Someone puts a garland of flowers around your neck, while another accompanies you to the reception with an umbrella to shade you from the heat of the sun.
At the reception, another staff hands you a refreshing face towel soaked in very cold water, so you can wipe away the day's sweat, dirt and stress.
Badian's servers and waiters are just as courteous and helpful as the other staff members. At the resort's Panorama restaurant, they keep their distance but are very attentive. They know when to come over in case you need or want anything, be it another round of drinks, a plate that needs to be replaced or a new set of utensils.
The food served at Panorama restaurant is an eclectic, tasty mix. For their welcome lunch, they were serving Japanese food such as gyoza, seaweed soup with squid balls, tender strips of beef with teriyaki sauce and pots of hot green tea. I love Badian resort It is just a two hours away from my house in cebu. I love to go back and experience again the beauty of nature and their satisfying services.
